WHITE BALANCE:

For fast and accurate white balance and color balance settings in digital photography, a large central 18% grey (50% reflectance) patch is included. True black and pure white targets flank the grey patch for easy white and black point setting using the Adobe Photoshop(tm) "levels" control. For precise exposure control in film photography, the large 18% gray patch allows easy exposure metering and control.

COLOR PRINTING, PROFILING and DISPLAY:

The reference color patches consist of 12 colors, including 6 CYMK colors red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and magenta, and subset of 6 of the 10 CIE (Commission internationale de l'éclairage) test color samples (CIE 1999 R96a method). For fast color profiling, the L*a*b* colorimetry values are printed on the back.
